After an injury that needed rehab of my MCL, reconstructive surgery on my ACL and meniscus, followed by more rehab, I had no idea how to regain my strength without potentially damaging my knee again. Stormy’s background and having her gym inside the clinic gave me the confidence to sign up for ten personal training sessions with her. Fast forward two years and I am the strongest I have been in years. In fact, at 42 years old, I finally have the confidence to surf with my children again! “Luck is when opportunity meets preparedness.” Five years ago, I met Stormy after taking some exercise “classes” where I injured my shoulder and later my back because I was not doing the exercises correctly. During our first session she evaluated my physical health and listened to my objectives and she continues this every day. Her medical knowledge combined with her love of physical exercise never cease to amaze me. Minor corrections in body position make a huge difference in the effect of an exercise. Three days a week for 30 minutes she finds new ways to challenge each body part in an interesting and fun way. And an added benefit, she loves to lend her advice on foods and nutrition. Stormy has a great gym and very nice, talented people working with her. I look forward to each day of exercise!

I've been a client of a consummate professional trainer, for six years and counting! Stormy creates a training program suited for you and your specific needs. She has worked with me over the years to gain strength in my arms and legs while improving my balance. This afforded me the ability to lift my sister, who has ALS, without hurting either of us! After rotator-cuff surgery and rehab, Stormy took over immediately to strengthen my shoulder and maintain core balance. Every 30 or 60 min session is organized and well-planned. Two and a half years ago, I met Stormy for my first personal training session. I had just turned 70 and I told Stormy that I wanted to give myself a birthday present: my 50 year old body back! Today, I am 20 pounds lighter, can put on my underwear without leaning on anything and have strength, balance and energy I never had at 50! After years of working out on my own, I grew tired of doing largely the same thing over and over for results that became less satisfying. I was at the point where it was getting easier to find excuses not to work out and letting my health slide. I realized that taking that approach would not work for me both physically and mentally. In October 2019, I started working out with Erica Rodriguez at Peak Performance, going 2 days a week in the early morning. The experience and results have been excellent. With Erica's training, the workouts are always different, challenging and above all fun. Her guidance and positivity keep me accountable and push me to further challenge myself. We even manage to add in a few laughs here and there all while working efficiently and effectively.
